Arizona Primary Care Residency Training Assessment and Development Project

The Arizona Primary Care Residency Training Assessment and Development Project describes the current status of medical student and residency training in Arizona. It examines Arizona physician workforce data to understand current supply and shortages by geography and specialty and explores the current composition of the Arizona physician workforce to determine what contribution physicians trained in the state, either in medical school and/or residency, are making to the workforce numbers in urban and rural areas and in each county.
